This led me to believe this issue was strictly with Studio One (version 5.3)įrom the top menu choose Studio One | Options | Audio Setup (Audio Device tab) | choose Windows Audio | Control Panel button.Ī new window opens. Then tested Foobar, Itunes, everything worked through the Windows Audio connection. Did the same with Stand Alone VST instruments by Arturia.everything worked fine. I then tried Reason 11, no issues all VST's, songs ,etc played fine. I made sure all other apps were closed but to no avail. I have looked through the FAQs and searched the forums and couldn't find anyone else who had this problem.Īny help is greatly appreciated! Thanks & have a good day.Īfter several months of no sound issues, I opened Studio One and no sound was heard from the built in Windows Audio Driver. Everything functioning perfectly normal, except for what is happening with the sound.Īnyone have any idea how to alleviate this problem? I really like Studio One and am very appreciative of what is included with the free version compared to other DAWs and would rather purchase Studio One than another but to me this is a very large problem and do not want to spend the money unless I can fix this. If you are having trouble getting your Recording Software (DAW) to record signal when you are using the inst/line input, it is likely to be because the track is set to record from input 1 of the Scarlett Solo. Top negative comment almost 6 years ago-1. MuseScore is not specific for the guitar or other fretted instruments. 26 April 2021 15:28 Updated Applies to: Scarlett Solo 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen. swp Great user interface, compatible with Guitar Pro files, high quality sound fonts, highly customizable, free open source software. Studio One will play sounds and function completely normally, but the other program(s) will not play sounds through the speakers. Recording a guitar/bass or line input with the Scarlett Solo.

Now if I have Studio One open first and open another program, the opposite happens. Studio One will function normally(registers key strokes, edit tracks & such) except for playing sound through my speakers. Im using ASIO4ALL because I want to be able to route the audio out from Guitar Rig back to my PC so I can play through my headphones along with music coming from iTunes or wherever.

but there is no input registered at all in Guitar Rig 5. If I have a program open that has the capability of producing sound(Internet, iTunes, ect) before I open Studio One, Studio One will not produce any sound through the speakers. asus P8Z68-V PRO motherboard with on board sound (realtek hd driver). Studio One "messes" with my computer/speakers.

I have been using Studio One for a couple months now(Free version, came with a MIDI keyboard I bought) and now that I am started to get the hang of using a DAW, I've been wanting to upgrade to a better version but I have a major problem. Hi all! First off thank you for your time & help.
